Recent History — SafetyTraks helps parents guide their teenage drivers out of harms way.

This feature expands the capability of the Find Me option. History enables the parent to view every start and stop as well as driving status at preset driving increments of fifteen minutes. Driving information for any day up to three days in the past can be viewed.

The History screen below is a sample. The Green dot indicates the vehicle started moving. “Start” is defined as the vehicle reaching eleven miles per hour. At eleven miles per hour the unit will immediately send a start message as indicated by the Green dot. Then every fifteen minutes the unit will report the location as it is moving. Note that these reports also show the speed and direction the vehicle is moving.

The red Stop indicates that the unit has not moved faster than eleven miles per hour for five minutes. Even in highly congested traffic areas, it is rare to drive below eleven miles per hour triggering a Stop report. (It is important to remember to obtain the exact Stop time one must subtract five minutes from the report’s indicated time.)
